Kitchen fitters in Ely

Ely sits about 18 miles west of Brandon, well inside our core area. We also work in Soham, March, Downham Market and the villages between them, so this part of Cambridgeshire is well inside the area we cover.

Ely falls under East Cambridgeshire District Council. That matters as soon as a project involves a structural alteration or anything outside the existing footprint, because the application and the inspections go through them. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

Ely has a historic centre of genuinely good period property, ringed by Victorian terraces and modern housing. That is the starting point, not the detail. None of that shows in a price list, which is why we come and look first. We price from the property, never from a template.

At about 18 miles from our base, getting out to measure up is straightforward rather than something we have to schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

Plots in the centre of Ely are constrained, while the modern development is a good deal more open. Inside work does not depend on the plot, although access, parking and somewhere to cut timber all come down to it.

Ely carries extensive conservation coverage and a great many listed buildings. Inside the house that rarely stops anything, but it is worth knowing about when the work touches a wall, a floor or anything structural.

That is the council's decision rather than ours, and it turns on the property and the exact work. A listed house, or a job that moves a structural wall, is where it is most worth asking before anything is booked. In Ely that means East Cambridgeshire District Council. If there is any doubt we would rather you check with them before work is booked than after.

Yes. The nearest other towns on our list to Ely are Soham, March, Downham Market, Lakenheath and Newmarket, and the villages in between are covered as well. If your address sits between two of them, tell us the village and we will tell you straight away whether it works.

Yes. It most often runs alongside second fix carpentry, extension work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. At about 18 miles from our base, putting the work into one programme also means one run of travel instead of several.

Call 07539 278705 or send the enquiry form with a line about the job. At roughly 18 miles away, a visit to measure up fits easily into a normal week. The quote costs nothing.
