Kitchen Fitting
Kitchens fitted properly, whoever supplied them, with the joinery around them finished to match.
Brandon, Suffolk
V&M Home Extensions are based in Brandon itself. We fit kitchens, build fitted wardrobes and media walls, carry out first and second fix carpentry, and take on extensions, cart lodges and renovations. Planning and building control here sit with West Suffolk Council.

About the area
Brandon is where we are based, on the Little Ouse at the Suffolk and Norfolk boundary, with Thetford Forest on three sides of the town.
Because it is home, Brandon work does not carry travel time, and we can usually get to a property to measure up quickly rather than scheduling it for a week on Thursday.
Planning and building control for Brandon sit with West Suffolk Council.
A mix of older flint and brick property in the town centre and a large amount of postwar and later estate housing, much of it built as the town grew. The postwar stock in particular tends to have small separate kitchens and generous but badly divided ground floors, which is why opening rooms up and fitting the kitchen afterwards suits this stock so well.
What we do here
All eight services are available across the area. The ones below link through to the detail.
Kitchens fitted properly, whoever supplied them, with the joinery around them finished to match.
Wardrobes built to the actual room, so alcoves, chimney breasts and sloping ceilings stop being wasted space.
A built in wall for the television, the fire and the cables, made as joinery rather than bought as furniture.
The structural timber work behind the plaster: joists, studwork, roof timbers and linings, set out square.
The joinery you actually see: doors hung true, skirting and architrave mitred tight, staircases and finishing work.
Single storey extensions built and fitted out by one team, structure through to the joinery inside.
Timber framed cart lodges built to suit the plot, in the East Anglian tradition rather than from a catalogue.
Carpentry led refurbishment of the house you already have, from reworking layouts to finishing the joinery.

Questions
All eight of our services: kitchen fitting, fitted wardrobes, media walls, first and second fix carpentry, extensions, cart lodges and renovations. Carpentry runs through all of it, which is why one team can take a job from the structural work through to the last door handle.
