Bought a kitchen? We fit it, in Brandon

Brandon is our base, so there is no travel on a job here. Lakenheath, Thetford and Thetford Forest are the same sort of distance from us, which puts this corner of Suffolk well inside the area we cover.

Brandon falls under West Suffolk Council. That matters as soon as a project involves a structural alteration or anything outside the existing footprint, because the application and the inspections go through them. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

The stock in Brandon is mostly postwar and later estate housing, with older flint and brick property through the town centre. Everything else follows from that. It is the difference between a job that runs to plan and one that needs scribing to every surface. We price from the property, never from a template.

This is our own town, so there is no travel involved and getting out to measure up is usually quick rather than something we schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

Plots in Brandon are regular and fairly modest, with more room on the forest side of the town. It is mostly a practical point for inside work: where materials are unloaded and where a cutting station can be set up out of the way.

The ground under much of Brandon is free draining Breckland sand, which is easy to dig and loose to build on. It seldom changes fitted joinery itself, but it can change what is behind it, and that is where surprises come from.

That is the council's decision rather than ours, and it turns on the property and the exact work. A listed house, or a job that moves a structural wall, is where it is most worth asking before anything is booked. The council to ask in Brandon is West Suffolk Council, and we can point you at the right department once we have seen the job.

Yes. The nearest other towns on our list to Brandon are Lakenheath, Thetford, Thetford Forest, Mildenhall and Feltwell, and the villages in between are covered as well. If you are not sure which counts as nearest, give us the village or postcode on the enquiry form.

Yes. It most often runs alongside second fix carpentry, extension work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. Because this is our own town, joining jobs up mostly saves on programme time rather than travel.

Call 07539 278705 or send the enquiry form with a line about the job. We are based in the town, so arranging a visit is quick. The quote costs nothing.
