Kitchen fitters in Thetford

Our base is in Brandon, about 7 miles from Thetford. Brandon, Thetford Forest and Attleborough are the same sort of distance from us, which puts this corner of Norfolk well inside the area we cover.

Thetford falls under Breckland Council. Anything structural, or anything that changes the footprint, is decided and inspected by them rather than by us. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

The pattern here is consistent. Thetford is dominated by overspill era estates built from the late 1950s onward, wrapped around a much older core. Kitchen fitting has to suit it. It is the difference between a job that runs to plan and one that needs scribing to every surface. We price from the property, never from a template.

At about 7 miles from our base, getting out to measure up is straightforward rather than something we have to schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

Estate plots in Thetford are consistent and generously sized for their era, though side access is often tight. For work inside the house the plot matters less than it does for building work, but it still decides where the van, the deliveries and any skip can go.

The estate layouts here bring shared boundaries and narrow side access more often than not. It seldom changes fitted joinery itself, but it can change what is behind it, and that is where surprises come from.

We do not make that call, the council does. For fitted work inside the house it is worth checking if the property is listed or if a wall is coming out, and we will tell you which of those applies once we have seen it. In Thetford that means Breckland Council. If there is any doubt we would rather you check with them before work is booked than after.

Yes. It most often runs alongside second fix carpentry, extension work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. At about 7 miles from our base, putting the work into one programme also means one run of travel instead of several.
