Bought a kitchen? We fit it, in Feltwell

Feltwell is roughly 6 miles up the road from us. We also work in Brandon, Lakenheath, Downham Market and the villages between them, so this part of Norfolk is well inside the area we cover.

Feltwell falls under Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. Anything structural, or anything that changes the footprint, is decided and inspected by them rather than by us. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

Feltwell is older brick and flint property with later infill between it. That is the starting point, not the detail. That is what decides how much of a job is straightforward and how much is patient work against what is actually there. We price from the property, never from a template.

At about 6 miles from our base, getting out to measure up is straightforward rather than something we have to schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

Plots in Feltwell are generous for a village of this size. It is mostly a practical point for inside work: where materials are unloaded and where a cutting station can be set up out of the way.

Feltwell sits on fen edge ground, which behaves quite differently from the sand a few miles east. Inside the house that rarely stops anything, but it is worth knowing about when the work touches a wall, a floor or anything structural.

That is the council's decision rather than ours, and it turns on the property and the exact work. A listed house, or a job that moves a structural wall, is where it is most worth asking before anything is booked. In Feltwell that means Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. If there is any doubt we would rather you check with them before work is booked than after.

Yes. It most often runs alongside second fix carpentry, extension work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. At about 6 miles from our base, putting the work into one programme also means one run of travel instead of several.
