Finishing joinery and second fix across Soham

Soham is about 16 miles south west of Brandon and squarely inside our normal patch. Soham, Ely and Mildenhall and the villages around them all sit inside our core area.

Soham falls under East Cambridgeshire District Council. Anything structural, or anything that changes the footprint, is decided and inspected by them rather than by us. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

What we are fitting into matters more than what we are fitting. Soham is an older fen edge core with a large amount of recent estate development around it. Two houses on the same street can differ on this, so a number quoted down the phone is a guess. We price from the property, never from a template.

At about 16 miles from our base, getting out to measure up is straightforward rather than something we have to schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

The recent estate plots in Soham are compact and regular. Inside work does not depend on the plot, although access, parking and somewhere to cut timber all come down to it.

Soham combines fen edge ground with a lot of very new stock. It seldom changes fitted joinery itself, but it can change what is behind it, and that is where surprises come from.

That is the council's decision rather than ours, and it turns on the property and the exact work. A listed house, or a job that moves a structural wall, is where it is most worth asking before anything is booked. The council to ask in Soham is East Cambridgeshire District Council, and we can point you at the right department once we have seen the job.

Yes. The nearest other towns on our list to Soham are Ely, Mildenhall, Newmarket, Lakenheath and Brandon, and the villages in between are covered as well. If you are not sure which counts as nearest, give us the village or postcode on the enquiry form.

Yes. It most often runs alongside first fix carpentry, fitted wardrobe work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. At about 16 miles from our base, putting the work into one programme also means one run of travel instead of several.

Call 07539 278705 or send the enquiry form with a line about the job. At roughly 16 miles away, a visit to measure up fits easily into a normal week. The quote costs nothing.
